A week with Prof Laher & Dr Beringer
Prof Laher and Dr Beringer have invaluable knowledge with regards to research.

This is a week for you to get started on your MMed. So take full advantage of this opportunity by coming prepared:
- bring your laptop
- come with a few research topic ideas
- come with a few potential supervisors in mind
- if you have already started working on a protocol bring your draft along

Annually, a research week is held for the new registrars to help start their MMed projects. It is advised that you have a topic and a supervisor in mind before the week begins.
​
Prof Laher and Dr Beringer will give you tasks each day to guide you and recommend ethics courses that will need to be completed. Try do as much as possible in this week as it will speed up the process in the long run.
