CONTACTS

Here is a current list of contacts for each rotation.
SEBOKENG ROTATION

As part of the emergency medicine training program, registrars are required to rotate through Sebokeng Hospital, which is located approximately 65–70 km from central Johannesburg. Due to the travel distance, registrars are eligible for petrol reimbursement. To claim this compensation, the reimbursement form (see below) must be completed in full. In addition, the following documents must be submitted to HR—drop them off with Dolly or Kamo:
-
A copy of your car license disc
-
All toll slips
-
Your call roster
-
The attendance register from Sebokeng
Ensure that all documents are clear, accurate, and submitted promptly to avoid delays in processing your claim.

The objectives for each rotation are outlined here.
MENTOR/MENTEE PROGRAM

The DEM started a Mentor Programme now headed by Dr Sarah Martin, allow time to contact your mentor and introduce yourself. All the consultants have walked this journey and have a wealth of knowledge/tips/tricks/advice to share.
You will be asked to complete this form and will be allocated a mentor.
ROTATION DUTIES

You will be expected to complete tasks outside of clinical practice. This occurs in the Emergency Department rotations. This includes collecting and presenting stats and morbidity and mortality information for the department.
